Partner: Chemnitz University of Technology
By means of the "K³ Knowledge Laboratory", experiences gathered from companies will be linked in a new way and made accessible to other companies. Therefore, an interactive learning room will be set up in which experiences from knowledge management introductory projects will be prepared. The aim of this project is to create a Knowledge Laboratory for cross-company knowledge management projects and activities.
Challenge
Together with Chemnitz University of Technology, community4you develops an interactive empirical research database "K³ Knowledge Laboratory" as a technology partner. The goal of this portal is to collect, process and prepare the data of SME's and guide large enterprises for the implementation of knowledge management projects.
Solution
As an interactive learning space, the "K³ Knowledge Laboratory" assists small and medium-sized companies in the targeted use of knowledge and suggests ways of structuring change processes. The user of the "K³ Knowledge Laboratory" learns how other companies cope with knowledge, which problems arise while changes occur, which solutions work and which approaches pose new problems.
The experiences from several companies and projects will be separated into Problem Action Combinations (PHKs) which can be generalized and transferred into other project contexts. From a technical perspective, this relationship is based on various experience reports and implemented by a specially adapted content management solution. Each Problem Action Combination can be assigned to at least one of the three categories "knowledge processes", "design fields" and "decision levels". Moreover, the relation of the PHK to one of the mentioned categories is gradually evaluated. Hence, the resulting complexity is not visible to the user of the "K³ Knowledge Laboratory". Instead, the user can choose from a manageable number of interesting contents. The new combination of the experience modules results in new solutions which lead to enhanced innovations with their own competences.
The "K³ Knowledge Laboratory" is part of the METORA joint project, which was established as part of the "Fit for Knowledge Competition" campaign of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
