Community4you wants to forge an economic alliance in support of democracy
The software manufacturer community4you AG expresses its solidarity with the mass protests against right-wing extremism and calls for a united campaign to support tolerance.
The board members Uwe Bauch, Lavinio Cerquetti and Janko Nebel explain: “We see it as our duty to take a stand. Not just as individuals, but also as a company. People from 13 nations work together at community4you AG. We have foreign business partners, friends and family members with a migration background. And we will stand up for these people.”
The company, with branches in Chemnitz and Leipzig, wants to forge an economic alliance to support democracy in view of the upcoming elections in Saxony this year: “We have been concerned for some time with how popular the right-wing party AfD is becoming - a party that despises basic democratic values and institutions and would like to undermine them. A party that suggests itself as a protest party. Wherever there is dissatisfaction with the government, the AfD feeds on it. Still, this party has no interest in helping the people. Their program is anti-human and their policies would ruin the economy. The meeting in Potsdam in November 2023 shows it very clearly: The AfD has long been entangled in right-wing extremist alliances and sits at the table when people fantasize about how millions of people could be expelled from Germany. This is a frightening reminder of the darkest hours of German history.”

We invite other companies from the region to network and coordinate joint actions. The fact that hundreds of thousands of people all over Germany are taking to the streets and making a statement encourages us. Together we must ensure that the outrage over Potsdam is not a flash in the pan.
