Supporting the development of the Georgian higher education sector
In addition to its main task of exchanging international students, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) also promotes the development of modern higher education structures in developing and emerging countries.
community4you AG acts as a practice partner for the DAAD project "Extended Practical Orientation of Studies in Georgia", which contributes to the modernisation of higher education in Georgia under the guidance of West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau. In close cooperation with the partner universities such as Georgian Technical University and International Black Sea University, community4you AG organises internships and supports computer science students in doing their final theses.

The main objective of this project is to establish and expand a modern higher education sector in Georgia, which suffered from structural restrictions in the field of education after the fall of the former Soviet Union. Similar to other German universities, Georgian students must be given a systematic and targeted practical orientation. Throughout the period of the partnership from 2015 until 2018, community4you AG supervised eight academic theses and hosted an internship for ten Georgian students.
